Mozart motive recurring in Beethoven and Wagner

In this post I would like to point to a similarity of a motive in classical music and invite comments from musicologists and others as to whether this has been covered in academic literature.

At the end of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, the chorus expresses gratitude to the gods. On each of the “Dank”, the violins play a very striking cascade in semiquavers,

On this video, the cascade begins at 1:50

The motive re-appears in the Largo of Beethoven’s 3rd piano concerto:

On this video, the cascade begins at 26:05

This motive reappears as the "pulse of life" in Wagner’s Tannhäuser.
